1, Install Rails components:

yum install ruby ruby-devel ruby-libs irb rdoc ruby-mysql

2, install Gems

wget http://rubyforge.org/frs/download.php/29548/rubygems-1.0.1.tgz

tar -xvzf rubygems-1.0.1.tgz

cd rubygems-1.0.1

ruby setup.rb
