How to find out your Linksys Sipura’s IP address

The Linksys/Sipura by default gets it’s IP address from the DHCP function of the router it is connected to.

For the Sipura SPA-1000, SPA-1001, SPA-2000, SPA-2002, SPA3102 and SPA-3000 the IP address of the device can be found by lifting the handset attached to any Line port and dialing ****, followed by 110#.

Linksys Sipura SPA3102 SIP Configuration for Gafachi VOIP Service Using Static IP

1. Log into Gafachi website, https://www.gafachi.com.

2. Go to Setup IP-based Authentication (for termination) and enter in the static IP of your internet connection (hint: it’s *NOT* the address that starts with 192.xxx.xxx.xxx, you can find out your static IP using http://www.whatismyip.com). Click Add IP. Go back to Main Menu.

3. Go to Setup manual address (for origination) and enter in the same static IP. Click Update. Go back to the Main Menu.

4. Go to Fax Mode. Pick T.38.

5. Write down one SIP cluster (either  NY or LA SIP cluster).

6, Login to you Linksys SPA3102, http://192.168.0.1/admin/voice/basic

7, Click on Line 1 tab, enter the following information
Line Enable=Yes
Proxy=IP of the Gafachi cluster, e.g., 67.216.35.162
Outbound Proxy=(empty)
Register=No
Make Call Without Reg=Yes
Ans Call Without Reg=Yes
User ID=Gafachi DID in 11 digit format (18001234567)
Password=(empty)
Use Auth ID=No
Auth ID=(empty)

8, You may want to set up port forwarding correctly for both SIP and RTP on your router.

9, To dial a number from a phone attached to your Sipura SPA3102, make sure dial 1 first. To receive phone call or fax, just use another phone/fax to dial your toll-free number 8001234567.

Sipura SPA2000 SIP Configuration for Gafachi VOIP Service

SIP Cluster 1A (67.216.35.162)
1) Login to the administrative web interface of your SPA-2000. If the
IP address of your SPA is 192.168.1.101, open
http://192.168.1.101/admin/

2) Select the “System” section
The configuration details of this section depend on the details of your network.

3) Select the “Line 1″ section, and fill in the values from the table
below. Please note that the User ID and Password that go into your
SPA2000 configuration are NOT the same username/password you use to
login to the Gafachi website.
4) Click on “Submit All Changes” button at the bottom of the page.

90.8 g NaI
1.5 g Na2SO3
100 ml of water.
Filter through 0.45 um filter,
then add another 0.5 g Na2SO3.
Store in the coldroom in a dark bottle.
